The Main Tab

To access the general settings, click the Main Tab in the GUI. From here you can set up the way Lys performs certain actions.

General

General Settings

Load Panorama: Load a Panorama map to be processed by Lys. Shortcut: CTRL+O

Load Sphere Map: Load a Sphere map to be processed by Lys. Shortcut: CTRL+Alt+O

Load Cube Map: Load a Cube map to be processed by Lys. Shortcut: CTRL+Shift+O

Export Name:The file name of which the selected maps will save with, as per the settings in the Export tab. This name automatically propagates from the original file and can be edited as needed.

Export Path: The file path to which the selected maps will save, as per the settings in the Export tab. By default the images will save to the Exports folder in the Lys install directory.

Export: This will export the selected maps, as per the settings in the Export tab.

Show/Hide 3D Preview Window: This button is a toggle to show or hide the 3D Preview window.

Cube Map Axis:

Debug Cube Map Face Positions: Check to overlay a diagnostic image that shows the various directions of each face present in a cube map.

Rotation

Rotation Settings

X: Rotate the image in the X direction.

Y: Rotate the image in the Y direction.

Z: Rotate the image in the Z direction.

Adjustments

Adjustments Controls

HDR

HDR: Enables HDR adjustments. These can be used while retaining the full dynamic range of the imported image.

Hue: Adjust the Hue of the image.

Saturation: Adjust the Saturation of the image. Moving the slider to the right with increase saturation while moving the slider to the left will decrease the saturation.

Exposure: Adjust the Exposure of the image.

Reinhard: Tonemap the image using the Reinhard algorithm.

LDR

LDR: Enables HDR adjustments. These can be used while retaining the full dynamic range of the imported image.

Contrast: Adjust the contrast of the image. Moving the slider to the right with increase contrast while moving the slider to the left will decrease the contrast.

Gamma: Adjust the gamma of the image.
